Picking up in prologue on last post's culinary leitmotif, I've got one word for you, Ben: burritos. Bean-cheese burritos. Easy, mic'd in 60 seconds -- blindsiding the appetite before it can change it's fickle mind -- done. The reward is grand. Paring those 2 a.m. exodi to Roberto's on College Ave. Sans the joy of fresh guac as avocados are on my temporarily-unkosh list. Red wine, too, much to my chagrin. For that, I've discovered white wine aged in oak barrels. Not red wine, but an incredible simulation. Back to today's Word, I've not yet delved into bacon-cheese bean Burritos, Jim, but fate and ultimate wisdom will inevitably be my guide.

Sammy's new school year started today. In moving up a grade, she also moved up a floor. To the executive suite, apparently. Coolest thing about the 3rd grade? Swivel chairs, she says. I can dig that. A simple thing that makes a grand life grander.
